Hawai‘i Community Foundation
Stronger Together Hawai‘i Scholarship Fund

Born out of the Covid-19 crisis which forced the early closing of the school year and cut short critical planning months for seniors, the Stronger Together Hawai‘i Scholarship fund gives 2020 graduates of Hawaii‘s public school system the hope and ability to pursue their goals.

The fund steps out of the box of traditional scholarships, allowing students to explore a wide range of continuing education options and offers funding for traditional and non traditional needs.

To be eligible for the Stronger Together Hawai‘i Scholarship, students must be public high school graduates and participate in the Next Steps to Your Future Program. Applicants from low to middle income families will be a priority and neighbor island graduates are especially encouraged to apply.

First Hawaiian Bank and Hawai‘i Community Foundation, who seeded this fund with $2 million, believe that each senior has their own story and their own needs. Your gift will help make it possible for students affected by COVID-19 this year, as well as students in future years, to pursue their dreams. Mahalo.
