Donate to The Stronger Hawai‘i Fund

The Stronger Hawai‘i Fund is a dedicated fund designed to support statewide disaster and emergency related preparedness, response, recovery, mitigation, and resilience.

Because we can’t predict when or where disaster will strike, the fund is designed to move quickly and flexibly across all islands, deploying resources to where the need is greatest the moment it arises. Whether it’s Hawai‘i Island, Maui Nui, O‘ahu, or Kaua‘i, no corner of our state is out of reach.

To ensure the fund can continue serving communities across Hawaiʻi over time, a portion of contributions supports the administrative and operational needs that make this work possible.

As of March 30, 2026, we have made the following awards from the Stronger Hawai‘i Fund:

Aloha United Way – $150K to support operations of the 211-call center – (Statewide)
‘Elepaio Services - $10K for Emergency Response Efforts (City & County of Honolulu)
Hana Farmer's Market, FS: Hawai'i Farmers Union Foundation - $10K for Emergency Response Efforts (Maui County-Moloka‘i)
Ho‘aka Mana - $10K for Emergency Response Efforts (Maui County - Moloka‘i)
Hope Services – $10k for Emergency Response Efforts (Hawai‘i County)
KEY Project – $10k for Emergency Response Hub at KEY Project (City & County of Honolulu)
