The Hawai‘i Community Foundation (HCF) announces the availability of funds from the Hawai‘i Tobacco Prevention and Control Trust Fund for a tobacco cessation grant program to provide cessation services to priority populations on all islands. The cessation grant program aligns with federal and state goals for tobacco prevention and control to reduce tobacco use prevalence and consumption, reduce tobacco-related morbidity and mortality and decrease tobacco related disparities.

Grants were awarded for a 3-year period with a maximum grant award of $150,000 per year (maximum of $450,000 over 3-years). The grant term began July 1, 2016 and runs to June 30, 2019. Grant payments are contingent on the availability of funds from the Trust Fund.
