Making a Difference

Every weekday morning, Laura walks into the back room of Pono Cleaners to tag items of clothing. In the workplace, she is identified by her work performance rather than by her disability of schizophrenia.

Kaua‘i Island Office

The Kaua‘i Island office is centrally located in the Kuuleialoha Buliding, near the War Memorial Convention Hall in Lihue.

We are ready to assist you, whether you are interested in philanthropic giving or seeking grants or scholarships.

Our staff is experienced and a well-connected resource on the island. We can work with individuals and organizations that are interested in exploring ways they can give. For ideas about how you can make a difference, see a list of the funds that have been established by donors to benefit Kaua‘i Island.

This collaboration includes working with our Leadership Council which helps our staff on Kaua‘i to further the Foundation’s mission. These community-minded volunteers open doors to form new partnerships and provide advice on issues relevant to Kaua‘i Island.
