  • scholarship amount totaled $4.7 million
  • Hawai‘i Community Foundation is the second largest post-secondary scholarship provider in Hawai‘i

How to Apply

When applying online, please read ALL the instructions listed below. If at any time you need help, please email us with questions. Follow these steps for successful submission of your online application:

New for 2010-2011 Academic Year Scholarships

The online application will open at 8:00 a.m. (Hawai‘i Standard Time) on Monday, December 14, 2009, and will close at 5:00 p.m. (HST) on Monday, March 1, 2010.

Reminder

It is the applicant's responsibility to follow-up and ensure all required documents are postmarked by the March 1st deadline.

Step 1 Register & Log In

Register yourself using your email address and a password. Previous applicants can login using their existing account information.

Step 2 Complete

Complete all required Personal Information and Academic Information (2 pages).

Step 3 Select

Browse and select the scholarships you want to apply for and add them to your backpack.

Step 4 Confirm & Submit

Review your information and edit if necessary. Read and agree to certification and submit application when ready.

Step 5 Print

Print the confirmation page and submit with your supporting materials.

Personal Statement
Copy of Student Aid Report (SAR). Available at www.fafsa.ed.gov
Official Grade Transcript
Letters of Recommendation (required for certain funds)
Essay (required for certain funds)
