Kelvin’s back in the office this week following a week on the mainland, but since he’s busy catching up on things, I thought I’d use his space to share more information with you about next month’s board leadership conference.
In particular, there’s an exciting discussion underway about the format for the Social Media Boot Camp. So far here’s how the assignments are shaping up at the moment:
• Roxanne Darling (Honolulu): What is social media and how to use it.
• Chris Kompolt (San Luis Obispo): Cause marketing for nonprofits.
• Christine Lu (Honolulu and California): Brand marketing online.
• Olin Lagon (Honolulu): A practitioner’s view from the field and if time permits, using social media for fundraising.
Dan Cooke of Hawaii News Now has agreed to be the moderator for the boot camp, so it will be nothing short of entertaining, I’m sure.
There’s still time to register if you haven’t already. Click here to visit the event site.
